Hey hey! I'm so excited to share this blog post with you guys. I had the opportunity to be a part of the most magical styled shoot, and it's probably my favorite photo session to date. This shoot was put on by the amazing Kalahan and Sean at The Inn at Avonlea in Sandy, Oregon. Let me first start by saying that this venue is freaking gorgeous. It reminds me of a home that would have the cover page of Magnolia Magazine (where my Joanna Gaines fans at?). This 109-year-old rustic barn and farmhouse is surrounded by 56 luscious acres and sweeping views of Mt. Hood, the perfect place for anyone to get married.
While the venue was absolutely breathtaking, this shoot would not have been complete without Becky from Event Crush's planning skills and magic touch. Becky is an Oregon wedding and event planner and she absolutely crushed this shoot! That's probably why her business's name is called Event Crush. Becky designed, planned, and styled this shoot. I can't imagine how much work that must have been and I definitely hope to work with her again on a future shoot.
Now we definitely have to talk about the florals. Do you guys see that circular floral arch in the photo above? It's gorgeous right?! Just wait until you see the floral throne in the gallery below. I regret not getting my photo taken on it haha. Makayla with Flowery Farmgirl created such beautiful works of art with her flowers that my jaw almost hit the floor when I saw them.
Brittany with Letters and Dust provided such elegant and classy invitation suites. I'm getting married this September and I ordered my wedding invitations off an online provider, but after seeing Brittany's work I was thinking, "Dang, I wish I would have known of Letters and Dust so I could have had them do my invitations!"
I think we can all agree that no wedding is complete without a yummy dessert. Ashley with Sweet Treats PDX made a three-tier wedding cake with a dreamy blue pattern on the first layer, gold accents on the second layer, and flowers resting on the top two layers.
The wedding gown was from The White Dress PDX and it no joke looked like a million bucks. I'm pretty sure I heard someone say it was like $6,000 though, so wow. I mean honestly, Hayley could have been wearing a brown paper bag and still looked amazing because she's just the prettiest person ever, but her + that dress = perfection.
Finally, I want to give a big shout out to all of the models! They were seriously rockstars. The bride and groom models were Hayley and Vadim Balabanova. The bridesmaids models were Daveen and Katrina. Mai, with Blossom and Beauty was the hair and makeup artist and she did a fantastic job on all of the ladies hair and makeup.
This shoot was literally perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you to all of the amazing vendors who made this possible! Alrighty guys, feel free to check out the photos from this epic day below!
